 Mike HaddockLicensed Tax PreparerMike is a Licensed Tax Preparer (LTP) with Padgett Klamath Falls. This is his first tax season with Padgett Klamath Falls and his tenth tax season as a LTP within the Klamath Falls area. Mike was born and raised in Klamath Falls. He graduated from Mazama High School in 1981 and received an Associate degree in Computer Systems Engineering Technology from Oregon Institute of Technology in 1983. To help pay for college, Mike began fighting wildland fire for the US Forest Service in 1982. This led to a thirty-one year career within various US Forest Service fire management organizations. During this career, Mike had the pleasure of responding to wildland fire and all risk incidents in sixteen different states and Canada. Upon retirement in 2014, Mike’s final position was Deputy Interagency Fire Management Officer (Chief 3) for the Fremont-Winema National Forest. Mike’s parents, brother, son/daughter in-law and two grandchildren all live in Klamath Falls. Outside of providing clients assistance with their tax needs during tax season, Mike enjoys grandparent duties, camping on the coast, golfing, hunting and fishing. Unlike Lexi, Mike has had only a single hole-in-one during his entire life!
